Global Law Office

Global Law Office ("Global"), established in 1984 by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in accordance with relevant State Council regulations, was restructured into a partnership in early 2001. Global is one of the earliest established large-scale comprehensive law firms in China after the reform and opening-up, holding a significantly leading position in the Chinese legal industry.

Since its inception, we have adhered to the principle of "serving domestic and international clients with an international perspective, an international team, and international quality," which has enabled us to maintain an unchanging leading position in the industry despite the ever-changing global economic landscape.

Global holds a leading position in numerous legal service areas, including foreign investment, corporate mergers and acquisitions, corporate listings, international financing, private equity and venture capital, energy and infrastructure investment, maritime affairs, anti-dumping, and international commercial arbitration. We currently have a total of nearly 300 professionals across our offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Our lawyers are graduates of China's top law schools, with the vast majority holding master's degrees or above in law. Many have also studied or worked at leading law schools and international law firms in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Most partners hold legal practice qualifications from jurisdictions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and South Korea.
