Hunan Junxin Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. is a professional environmental protection enterprise engaged in the treatment of urban solid waste such as domestic waste, landfill leachate (sewage), municipal sludge, and fly ash, integrating investment construction, technology research and development, and operation management. It is a national high-tech enterprise, certified with ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The Changsha Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant, mainly operated by the company, is Changsha's only comprehensive collaborative treatment site for urban solid waste and also an ecological environment education base and public open unit for Changsha City and Hunan Province. The Phase I project of Changsha Domestic Waste Deep Comprehensive Treatment (Clean Incineration), which was completed and put into operation in January 2018, is currently one of the largest waste-to-energy plants in China, with a designed daily incineration capacity of 5,000 tons of domestic waste and an annual on-grid power generation of 414 million kWh. Its flue gas emission indicators far exceed national standards, and the treated wastewater is reused after meeting standards. In 2019, the project was rated as a "Hunan Province Sanitation Industry Benchmark Project" and won the "China Construction Engineering Luban Award," making it the only project in the national waste incineration industry whose owner has received this honor. The Phase II project for collaborative disposal of sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plants and household waste clean incineration is being promoted in an orderly manner, with a designed capacity of treating 500 tons of municipal wastewater treatment plant sludge and nearly 3,000 tons of household waste per day, using a process of sludge thermal drying followed by collaborative incineration with household waste, and is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2021. The landfill leachate project has been rated as a "Science and Technology Demonstration Project" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The company is committed to building the Changsha Solid Waste Site into a nationally first-class environmental protection industrial park integrating comprehensive collaborative treatment of household waste, municipal sludge, and landfill leachate, as well as an environmental protection science popularization park combining environmental protection process display and education.
