四川省信息通信学校于1984年经邮电部、教育部批准成立，是全国*一所中职学校，是四川省邮政培训中心、邮政通信行业特有工种职业技能鉴定站、国家职业技能技能鉴定站和全国计算机等级考试考点学校。学校1997年建成省级文明单位，2004年被省人事厅人才交流中心确定为“人才资源基地”，2005年被省人事厅、省教育厅、省劳动和社会保障厅表彰为“四川省职业教育改革创新先进单位”，2006年被评为四川省中小企业示范培训机构，2007年荣获“全国青少年文明教育示范基地”称号，2009年被教育部认定为*重点中等职业学校。
