Hunan Xinhui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in 2002, formerly known as Hunan Xiangmin Pharmaceutical Factory. In 2003, an investment of 100 million yuan was made to relocate the entire facility from its original site to the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone in Changsha, Hunan, where GMP renovation was implemented. It passed national GMP certification in 2003 and 2008, passed the new national GMP certification in 2013, and in 2015 the traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces workshop passed the new GMP certification in one go, making it one of the first enterprises in Hunan Province to pass the new GMP certification.
