Hubei Jiexun Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture established in Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone by Hubei Hanjun Investment Co., Ltd. and Optoplex Corporation of the United States, with an establishment date of December 27, 2011, a registered capital of 86 million yuan, and paid-in capital of 8,600 yuan. The company adopts Optoplex's advanced technology and production processes, and is mainly engaged in the R&D and production of optical network components, sensors, spectrometers, optical instruments, etc.
With optical communication products as its core, the company has developed a series of indispensable devices in the field of optical communication with independent intellectual property rights. It has become a long-term supplier to many large domestic and international communications companies such as Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent, and Cisco. While consolidating the optical communication market, the company has begun to focus on the R&D of fiber optic sensing products, optical measurement instruments, and laser products. Among them, portable spectrometers, T-ROSA, and femtosecond fiber lasers are key R&D projects. The company has applied for 10 invention patents and 9 utility model patents, of which 7 utility model patents have been authorized.
The company currently has more than 150 employees, including more than 30 with master's degrees or above. The company has an R&D team with returned doctoral graduates as its core, including members such as a recipient of the national "***" program, an optical thin film coating expert, a Fellow of SPIE (the International Society for Optics and Photonics), doctoral graduates from prestigious British and American universities, and doctoral and master's graduates from prestigious domestic universities. The company has currently invested in the construction of the Jiexun Optoelectronics headquarters and optoelectronics R&D base project in Wuhan Optics Valley Future Science and Technology City. The first phase of the project has a total land area of 47,313.13 m2 and a total building area of 80,976.71 m2. The project site is located between the East Lake National Scenic Tourist Area, Jiufeng National Forest Park, and Liangzi Lake, only a 20-minute drive from Optics Valley Central City and the East Lake Development Zone Bonded Area, and only a half-hour drive from Wuhan High-Speed Railway Station, Optics Valley Railway Station (passenger station), and Wuhan Airport, with intercity railways and subway stations nearby. The Jiexun Optoelectronics headquarters is equipped with living facilities such as Chinese and Western restaurants, a café, a cinema, tennis courts, and a bookstore.
