China Merchants Capital Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Merchants Capital") was established in 2012 with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan (RMB). China Merchants Capital's domestic operational headquarters is located in Shenzhen, and its international operational headquarters is located in Hong Kong.

China Merchants Capital was originally an important subsidiary of China Merchants Group. In 2019, through the introduction of strategic investors and the advancement of mixed-ownership reform, it is now a joint venture between China Merchants Group and Prologis, specializing in alternative investment and asset management businesses. On the one hand, it actively explores the market and continuously cultivates new industries to enhance the vitality of capital; on the other hand, it integrates internal resources of the group to promote the mutual combination of finance and industry. As of the end of 2019, China Merchants Capital managed total assets of approximately 270 billion yuan.
