Haiguang Nuclear Power

Chengdu Haiguang Nuclear Power Technology Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu Haiguang", a state-owned enterprise), formerly known as Chengdu Dahua Technology Development Company of Nuclear Power Institute of China, was established in the 1990s and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Power Institute. On September 29, 2013, it completed the restructuring into a one-person limited company and was renamed with the approval of China National Nuclear Corporation, possessing independent legal person status. Chengdu Haiguang's main business includes daily maintenance and refueling overhaul of nuclear islands, equipment management, performance testing, auxiliary system operation, on-site engineering renovation design and implementation, technical document management, general technical services, as well as business training and technical consulting related to the above. Its business foundation stems from the Nuclear Power Institute's over 50 years of technical accumulation and management experience in the operation and maintenance of its own nuclear facilities. Chengdu Haiguang has inherited the Nuclear Power Institute's technical skills in nuclear-related maintenance and its nuclear safety culture. Since 1993, when the Science and Technology Development Company of the Nuclear Power Institute undertook general technical services for Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station, it has successively provided daily maintenance and overhaul, equipment management, performance testing, engineering renovation implementation, commissioning, technical document management, and maintenance skills training for Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station, Tianwan Nuclear Power Station, Qinshan Nuclear Power, Hongyanhe Nuclear Power, Yangjiang Nuclear Power, Ningde Nuclear Power, Taishan Nuclear Power, Fangchenggang Nuclear Power, and others.
