Osim (China) Commercial Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise and a wholly-owned subsidiary invested by the renowned Singapore-based company, Osim International Pte Ltd. in China.
In the late 1970s, the company established its own brand "OSIM" and produced a variety of OSIM-branded health care products through contract manufacturing and joint venture production. The "OSIM" brand was created by Dr. Ron Sim, where "O" symbolizes the globe, and "SIM" is his surname; the meaning of "OSIM" is to bring the brand to markets worldwide.
In 2002, Osim International Ltd. was listed in Forbes Global's ***200 Best Small Companies, and in 2006, it was awarded the "Singapore *Most Valuable Brand" award.
Over the years, the Group has adopted strategic marketing methods, such as celebrity advertisements and sports events, to build the image and credibility of the OSIM brand. The Group also participates in charitable activities and establishes scholarships to give back to society.
