SEW-Transmission Equipment (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. is located at Plot 51MD, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone [No. 59, Quanli 4th Road, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone]. It was established on January 28, 2007, completed and put into production in March 2008. It is an assembly plant wholly invested by the German SEW Group and belongs to the machinery manufacturing industry. The first-phase investment exceeded 12 million USD, and it is the assembly service center of SEW Group in Central China. In May 2019, the second-phase reconstruction and expansion project invested 130 million RMB and was completed on December 28, 2020; the new production equipment in the second-phase workshop was installed and debugged in February 2021 and officially put into production in late February. In 2018, the company was rated as a "Most Growing Enterprise" by the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone and is a high-quality foreign-invested enterprise in the zone.
The company is mainly engaged in the production of gear reducers, gear motors, motors, transmissions, electronic controllers, servo devices and their components, both wholesale and retail, and provides related technical and after-sales services.
SEW gear motors adopt optimized design, featuring small size, light weight, large transmission torque, smooth starting, and low loss. They can be connected in any way according to user requirements (foot-mounted, flange-mounted, hollow shaft) and with multiple installation position options.
SEW's electronic control products are technologically leading, with multiple series of products to meet different application requirements. It is a major supplier of drive control products in the European market.
