The FFT Group was founded in 1974, headquartered in Fulda, Germany, and entered the Chinese market in 2004, establishing FFT (Shanghai) Manufacturing System Engineering Co., Ltd., located in Shanghai's 'International Automobile City'. In May 2019, Shanghai AIFUDI Automation Technology Co., Ltd., established by a fund under Fosun International, fully acquired the FFT Group, moving its global headquarters to Jiading, Shanghai. FFT primarily provides turnkey projects for vehicle production lines, customized engineering design, and various flexible intelligent automation technical support to first-tier international automobile manufacturers such as BMW, Daimler, and Volkswagen, becoming a strategic partner and core supplier to these three major automobile groups. It also provides final assembly solutions and segment final assembly integration for Airbus, Boeing, and COMAC's C919. In recent years, the company's business has expanded to general industries such as new energy batteries and white goods. After nearly 50 years of accumulation, FFT's technical route and intellectual property layout have become increasingly clear. It has mastered the core production capabilities of Industry 4.0, including intelligence, personalization, and flexibility, and possesses strong competitiveness globally.
