Kostal

The Kostal Group was founded in 1912. It is an international multinational enterprise with its headquarters in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and has established more than 50 subsidiaries in 21 countries worldwide. It mainly provides complete solutions for automotive electrical systems, industrial electrical systems, connectors, and testing equipment.

Kostal (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. was established in 2011 as the Asian headquarters of the Kostal Group. Located in Shanghai Anting International Automobile City, China, it oversees thirteen companies and two offices, including ten companies in mainland China and Asian enterprises such as Kostal (Korea), Kostal (Japan), and Kostal (India). It is a wholly-owned subsidiary invested by the Kostal Group. Shanghai Kostal-Huayang Automotive Electrical Co., Ltd. is a Sino-German joint venture established in 1995 and is also a joint venture under Kostal (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. In 2019, Kostal (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. ranked 93rd among Shanghai's Top 100 Enterprises and 31st among the Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises.
