China Electronics Technology Group Corporation Third Research Institute

The Third Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Third Institute), located in the capital Beijing, is a comprehensive research institution integrating technical research, product development, trial production, product sales, engineering integration, quality inspection and certification, standard formulation, and consulting services in the fields of television, electroacoustics, and related areas.
The Third Institute's business covers professional fields such as acoustic detection and positioning, optoelectronic tracking and guidance, special communications, transportation electronics, and audio and video broadcasting. It has undertaken a large number of military and civilian audio and video systems and product design, development, and production tasks for key national party, government, and military departments. It also provides various technical services to the whole society, including product development, standard formulation, technical consultation, quality inspection, and system certification, exerting significant and extensive influence in China's television and electroacoustics industry.
In the field of [military equipment], the military equipment developed and produced by our institute is widely used in multiple branches of the armed forces, including the navy, army, and air force, laying a solid foundation for China's precision guidance. The acoustics specialty is the strongest in technical strength at our institute, mainly engaged in pre-research of military products, model development, and equipment production, occupying a leading position in the field of airborne sound. The optoelectronics specialty is the pioneer of China's television tracking and guidance technology. The special communications department focuses on internal communication systems for warships, and its communication system technology based on IP soft switching holds a leading position domestically.
The wholly-owned subsidiary Aotevei Technology Development Corporation holds multiple national Grade A qualifications and has undertaken numerous key national projects. The National Radio and Television Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Beijing Terit Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd.) is a third-party impartial inspection institution. The Terit Certification Center is the only technical service company within the group engaged in three-system certification. The institute's magazine agency publishes two national core journals: "Television Technology" and "Electroacoustic Technology".
