四川电影电视学院是经教育部批准、继北京电影学院之后国内第二所以电影命名的全日制民办本科院校。学校创建于1992年，前身为四川师范大学电影电视学院，发展至今拥有金牛和安仁两个校区，占地面积2100亩。学校拥有10个二级学院和1个教学部、1个大学生创新创业中心，共开设25个本科专业、21个专科专业。“广播电视编导”专业、“播音与主持艺术”专业获批“*一流本科专业建设点”，“影视摄影与制作”专业、“表演”专业、“戏剧影视文学”专业获批“省级一流本科专业建设点”。戏剧与影视学科入选四川省高等学校“双一流”建设贡嘎计划建设学科Ⅲ类名单。30多年来，为党和国家的教育事业和社会发展需要，培养了数以万计的影视传媒人才。优秀电视工作者李佳明、施丹、张韬、谢娜、杨乐乐、黄橙子、杨迪、宁远、周珊、刘彦池、廖攀等；活跃在电影行业的周子健、钟伟、郭廷波、张鹏程、陈浩、吕艳婷（《哪吒》配音）、吉乌此沙、吴曦等，均是川影的优秀毕业生。欢迎来到川影，共创艺术教育梦想！
