In addition to long-term partners Totole and Haoji, Nestlé signed joint venture agreements with leading food companies Yinlu and Hsu Fu Chi in 2011. At the end of 2012, Nestlé completed the global acquisition of Wyeth Nutrition, a leading infant nutrition brand, adding 1,500 employees and one factory to Nestlé's operations in Greater China.

Nestlé operates 33 advanced production facilities in China and employs approximately 50,000 people (including employees of joint ventures and Wyeth Nutrition).
