MCC Huatian Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. is an important backbone enterprise under China Minmetals Corporation and Metallurgical Corporation of China Limited, both Fortune Global 500 companies. Its predecessor is the 'Ma'anshan Iron and Steel Design and Research General Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry', established in 1962. MCC Huatian inherits and promotes the corporate culture spirit of 'hard work, dream of steel, reform and innovation, and pursuit of excellence' for nearly six decades, committed to building a 'strong scientific research institute, large economic institute, and famous brand institute'.
Under the strategic positioning of MCC Group to 'build a national team for metallurgical construction, a main force for infrastructure construction, and a new force for emerging industries, and adhere to a high-tech and high-quality development path for a long term', MCC Huatian persists in deepening reforms and focusing on innovation-driven development. Its main business has evolved from a single steel metallurgy design to a diversified development model of 'one body with two wings', with EPC as the main body (mainly steel EPC, while fully leveraging the comprehensive Grade A EPC general contracting capability in engineering design), and water treatment and environmental protection industry plus 'health care +' industry as the two wings. Its qualification system has developed from a single Grade A metallurgical design qualification to 28 qualifications of various categories and specialties, including the national highest level of comprehensive engineering design qualification (Grade A). It currently has more than 2,300 employees, of which 34.45% are master's or doctoral degree holders, 26.88% have senior professional titles or above, and more than 380 people hold various professional practice qualifications.
MCC Huatian is a full-process national team for steel metallurgical construction and operation services, a provider of systematic solutions for urban and industrial development led by scientific research and design, and a full life-cycle service provider for project investment (financing), consulting, planning, design, construction, and operation. It is committed to high-tech, intelligent management services, and providing green industrial services for owners.
MCC Huatian is a 'National High-tech Enterprise', 'National Recognized Enterprise Technology Center', 'National Industrial Energy Conservation and Green Development Evaluation Center', 'National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise', and 'Supporting Unit for Major Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment Encouraged by the State'. It is among the first batch to obtain the 'Upgraded Quality Management System Certification (AAA) Certificate for Engineering Survey and Design Industry'. It has Jiangsu Province Water Environment Safety and Water Quality Assurance Engineering Research Center, Anhui Province Metallurgical and Papermaking Water Treatment Engineering Technology Research Center, China Machinery Industry Sewage Treatment Energy-saving Process and Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, MCC Water Treatment Engineering Technology Center, Anhui Province Post-doctoral Scientific Research Workstation, and Jiangsu Province Graduate Workstation.
