Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Development Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Xiangjiang Group") is a large state-owned sole proprietorship enterprise under Changsha City. As of December 2018, the company's total assets reached 61.9 billion RMB.

Its business scope includes primary and secondary land development, urban infrastructure and operations, industrial platform construction investment and operations, health industry development and operations, urban resource management and operations, property management, etc.
Xiangjiang Happy City is a mega innovative comprehensive tourism industry project in Hunan, featuring world-class project creativity, first-class project design, and a model of resource-saving and environment-friendly project construction. Xiangjiang Happy City, with a total investment of approximately 12 billion RMB, builds a happy kingdom through six core recreational projects: Happy Plaza, Happy Snow World, Happy Water Village, Happy Ocean, Happy Sky Street, and Huayi Brothers Movie Culture City, bringing tourists different tourism experiences through various recreational projects. The project officially started construction on July 18, 2014.
The Happy Snow World project is planned to open and operate at the end of 2019. Happy Snow World is personally designed by world-renowned architect Wolf D. Prix, with the Alps as its theme, combining many novel ice and snow amusement facilities and offering diverse entertainment activities such as skiing and snow play. Its building area is approximately 100,000 square meters, with an investment of 2.1 billion RMB, making it the only ice and snow amusement park in the world suspended above an abandoned mining pit.
Happy Water Village is designed by the amusement design team Forrec. Relying on the terrain of an abandoned deep pit and utilizing the top of the ice and snow world, the ground, the cliff walls, and the bottom of the deep pit, it creates a three-dimensional water play park, building a 75,000-square-meter amusement area with a total investment of 750 million RMB.
