Shanghai Yaohua Pilkington Glass Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SYPG") was established in 1983, with its foreign partner being the global glass manufacturer Pilkington plc of the United Kingdom. The company was restructured and listed in 1993, making it one of the earlier listed companies in China's glass manufacturing industry. For over thirty years, it has been a representative of high-quality glass in China and has possessed a management team with rich professional experience and a senior excellent technical team. SYPG brand float glass series products and insulating glass products have been recognized as "China Famous Brand Products".
SYPG currently has production bases in Shanghai, Changshu, Tianjin, Jiangmen, Chongqing, Wuhan, and Yizheng. Its main business covers three major fields: float glass, architectural processed glass, and automotive glass. In the field of float glass, the main products include automotive glass substrates, online hard-coated low-emissivity glass, and special glass such as aviation glass; in the field of architectural processed glass, the main products are safety, environmental protection, and energy-saving series processed glass, which are widely used in global landmark buildings, including Beijing CITIC Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Pudong Airport Phase III, Hong Kong International Commerce Centre, Japan's New Tokyo Tower, Germany's Frankfurt Airport Hub, and Kuwait's Hamra Tower...; in the field of automotive glass, the products include various automotive front windshields, sunroofs, doors, and rear windshields. Chongqing Yaopi Engineering Glass Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SYPG, established on November 15, 2013, covering an area of approximately 500 mu, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan over three phases. The project has received strong support from governments at all levels in Chongqing and has been listed as a municipal key project by the Chongqing Municipal Government. The company mainly produces and sells high-end architectural glass for curtain wall and door and window systems. The glass products mainly include energy-saving low-emissivity LOW-E special glass, laminated insulating safety, environmental protection, and energy-saving composite special glass, self-cleaning environmental protection special energy-saving glass, and low-emissivity LOW-E special glass substrates, etc.
