It was established in August 2006 with a registered capital of RMB 170 million. Shanghai GKN Driveline Co., Ltd., China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and GKN Industries plc of the United Kingdom jointly invested a cumulative total of RMB 400 million.
Production capacity and products: annual production capacity of approximately 1.5 million vehicle sets of constant velocity universal joint drive shafts and 350,000 differentials.
Business scope: to supply driveline systems to OEM plants under China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd.,
focusing on the mid-to-high-end product market in the Chongqing region, mainly for Changan Automobile and Changan Ford passenger vehicles.
The company is rooted in the Chongqing market, consolidating a market share of over 70% with major customers such as Ford, continuously enhancing its core competitiveness, implementing lean enterprise management practices, and building itself into a first-class "small but refined, refined but strong" driveline system supplier in the Chongqing region. Current major customers include Changan Ford, Changan Automobile, Changan Mazda, Changan Suzuki, BAIC, JAC, Great Wall, Beijing Hyundai, and other automobile manufacturers.
