华能渑池热电有限责任公司位于三门峡市渑池县，西距三门峡市60公里，东临洛阳市55公里，南临陇海铁路、310国道和连霍高速，交通十分便利，职工家属区位于洛阳市。渑池县是我国仰韶文化的发祥地，历史悠久辉煌，也是沿黄河经济带和豫晋陕黄河金三角经济协作区的重要组成部分，资源十分丰富，发展前景广阔。华能渑池热电厂建设2×350MW超临界燃煤热电联产机组，已于2013年10月29日开工建设，计划2015年投产发电，投产后可实现年发电量35亿度，供热面积达970万平方米。项目预留2×660MW火电工程扩建条件。
