I. Introduction to Sekisui Medical Technology (China) Co., Ltd.
Sekisui Medical Technology (China) Co., Ltd. is one of the subsidiaries of Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd., and its business is managed and guided by Sekisui Medical Co., Ltd. It is a wholly Japanese-owned enterprise.
Its business scope covers the import and sales of in vitro diagnostic reagents, the production and sales of vacuum blood collection systems, the development and introduction of medical device products, the sales of research reagents, and technical consulting services. Currently, Sekisui Medical Technology (China) Co., Ltd. has obtained over 70 registration certificates for various in vitro diagnostic reagents, covering fields such as clinical testing, coagulation, and drug concentration monitoring, and continues to introduce new products. The vacuum blood collection tube factory has obtained ISO9001 medical device quality management system certification, CE product certification, IVD certification, and Japanese GMP certification, and its products sell well nationwide and are exported to Japan.

Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in March 1947 with a registered capital of 108 billion yen. It is a listed company in Japan and was listed on the 2019 "Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World" (Note 1) released by Corporate Knights, a Canadian media and investment research company. As one of the world's largest plastic processing manufacturers, it has 233 companies and 21,800 employees, with overseas subsidiaries in 16 countries and regions. Its main pillar industries include housing construction, high-performance plastic products, and urban construction and environmental engineering. In recent years, Sekisui Chemical has established 8 joint ventures or wholly-owned enterprises in Beijing, Langfang, Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Qingdao, Dalian, Urumqi, and other places in China. "Sekisui Chemical" is one of the earliest manufacturers of plastic vacuum blood collection tubes in the world, with unique advanced production technology.
