Guangzhou Mengyu Trading Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Mengyu), was established in July 2009. The company is located in Guangzhou, one of the top three animation cities in mainland China. It is a comprehensive entity company mainly engaged in the design, research and development, production, and sales of anime peripheral products.
Since its establishment, the team has possessed highly educated full-time employees, a scientific and standardized management system, excellent original design capabilities for doujin works, and strong capabilities in the research and expansion of anime peripheral products. This has ensured the company's rapid development over the past four years. The company is divided into several departments, including the Administration Department, Operations Department, Product Design Department, Art Department, Technical Department, Marketing Department, Customer Service Department, and Warehousing Department. The company's main products include: body pillows, anime T-shirts, IT-related anime products, bedding, and more, covering over 20 product categories. All product designs are either independently created or based on secondary doujin creations. The company's self-owned anime character "Mengyu" (Meng Yu), as a symbolic figure of the corporate anime culture, has spawned derivative anime peripheral products that are well-received by anime enthusiasts.
