Shanghai Zhongyi Institute of Psychology and Perception Science

Shanghai Zhongyi Institute of Psychology and Perception Science is a private non-enterprise institution affiliated with the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Its predecessor, Shanghai Zhongyi Mental Health Research Institute, was established in 1994 and is one of the earliest institutions in Shanghai qualified to provide psychological counseling services. It has now developed into a comprehensive child psychology research institution integrating academic research, solution design, assessment software development, education and training, and teaching aid production. It boasts a multidisciplinary team of over a hundred professionals, including expert doctors, teachers, psychological counselors, rehabilitation trainers, and software engineers, conducting research and practice in early childhood education that combines psychology, education, medicine, and rehabilitation science. The institute is committed to integrating big data, cloud computing, and wearable devices with early childhood education, providing students with high-quality digital resources and promoting the application of informatization in basic education. It has successfully completed the development and application of the Shanghai Children's Health Big Data Platform, as well as the research and development of intelligent teaching aids for children's perceptual and motor abilities. Currently, the institute also operates kindergartens and sensory integration rehabilitation and training centers, continuously testing and applying its research in practice.
