China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Genertec) was established in 1998. It is a key state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government. In December 2018, it was approved as a pilot enterprise for state-owned capital investment companies. In the field of advanced manufacturing and technical services, the group actively implements the strategy of manufacturing power, making the development of high-end CNC machine tools the group's core business. Since the founding of New China, the group has created dozens of national firsts in the field of machine tool equipment, with more than 40 national model workers, continuously inheriting and promoting the spirit of the Ma Hengchang Group. Currently, the group has one machine tool engineering research institute and seven machine tool manufacturing units. In the field of pharmaceutical and medical health, the group actively serves the Healthy China strategy and the national strategy to actively respond to population aging. It has built a large health ecosystem with health as the goal, medical services as support, and comprehensive services of all formats as guarantee. It has built a pharmaceutical commercial network covering the whole country, with its business scale and market share ranking in the first camp in China; high-end medical imaging equipment R&D and manufacturing ranks among the top in the country; it has more than 400 medical institutions, with 52,000 open beds and over 37 million annual outpatient and emergency visits. It is a central enterprise medical group with a leading number of beds, comprehensive network coverage, and obvious characteristics of a full industry chain.
