Huatai Futures Co., Ltd. was established on March 28, 1994, and is a controlling subsidiary of Huatai Securities. Its current registered capital is RMB 3.939 billion. Its main business includes commodity futures brokerage, financial futures brokerage, futures investment consulting, asset management, and fund distribution. Huatai Futures is one of the first batch of futures companies established in China and one of the first futures companies nationwide to obtain pilot business innovation qualifications for investment consulting, asset management, and risk management subsidiaries. It is a council member of the China Futures Association, a comprehensive clearing member of the China Financial Futures Exchange, a member of the three major domestic commodity exchanges, and a member of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
