Under the national 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' which proposed 'drug consistency evaluation' and reform of the centralized drug procurement system, Jingfeng Pharmaceutical's metformin hydrochloride tablets passed the consistency evaluation in May 2019. In August 2020, the metformin hydrochloride tablets won the bid in the national centralized procurement.
