State Power Investment Corporation Jiangxi Electric Power Co., Ltd. (State Power Investment Corporation Jiangxi Company) was established in June 2003 and is one of the first three regional branches of State Power Investment Corporation. It is mainly engaged in the development, investment, construction and management of electric power and renewable energy, organizing electric power production, as well as energy sales and power station services. Its businesses include thermal power, hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic power generation, integrated smart energy, power station services, energy storage, etc. Its controlled installed capacity exceeds 11 million kilowatts (including 6.25 million kilowatts of thermal power, 704,200 kilowatts of hydropower, 2.026 million kilowatts of wind power, 2.0898 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, and 30,000 kilowatts of biomass power generation).
