哈尔滨银行成立于1997年2月，总部位于哈尔滨市。现已在天津、重庆、大连、沈阳、成都、哈尔滨等地设立了17家分行，在北京、广东、江苏、吉林、黑龙江等14个省市发起设立了32家村镇银行，发起设立东北地区家金融租赁公司——哈银金融租赁有限责任公司及黑龙江省家消费金融公司——哈尔滨哈银消费金融有限责任公司。截至2018年12月31日，哈尔滨银行（集团）拥有营业机构368家，分支机构遍布全国七大行政区。2014年3月31日，哈尔滨银行在香港联合交易所主板成功上市（股票代号：06138.HK），是中国第三家登陆香港资本市场的城市商业银行，也是中国东北地区家上市的商业银行。
