Wuhan Guolitong Energy and Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Guolitong) is a high-tech discipline-based company established at the end of 2009, relying on the talent and technological advantages of Jianghan University. It is a 3551 Enterprise of Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone and a high-tech enterprise of Hubei Province. The company currently has multiple professors and associate professors, with employees holding doctoral and master's degrees accounting for approximately 40% of the total workforce, possessing strong innovative research and development capabilities. Guolitong takes it as its mission to innovate environmental protection technologies in the energy and social development fields. Facing the major technological needs of oil and gas enterprises and social development, it persists in independent innovation, vigorously develops advanced environmental protection technologies in the oil and gas field and energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies in the social development field, and is committed to the research, development, promotion, and application of advanced complete sets of environmental protection technologies and equipment. Its main business falls into two major areas: the development, promotion, and application of complete sets of industrial gas purification technologies and equipment; and the development, promotion, and application of complete sets of solid waste treatment technologies and equipment. With the technical support of Jianghan University, Guolitong has developed the GLT chelated iron wet oxidation desulfurization complete technology, which can be applied to the hydrogen sulfide removal and purification treatment of industrial gases such as natural gas, refinery gas, crude oil associated gas, synthesis gas, coke oven gas, biofermentation gas, acid tail gas, and sulfur recovery unit tail gas. After purification, the hydrogen sulfide content in the gas is less than 10 ppm. Among these, the complete technology and equipment for high-gravity oil and gas desulfurization have been industrialized on the CNOOC South China Sea western oil production platform, marking the world's first application of high-gravity technology to oil and gas production on an offshore oil production platform. This solves the problem that offshore oil production platforms cannot install large tower equipment due to limited space and load-bearing capacity, enables the recovery and utilization of high-hydrogen-sulfide crude oil associated gas, and provides technical support for the long-distance safe transportation of offshore oil and gas.
