Chongqing CRRC Sifang Institute Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Technology Company") was jointly funded and established in 2012 by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Qingdao Sifang Institute"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Corporation"), and Chongqing CRRC Changke Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd.
Chongqing CRRC Sifang Institute Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Intelligent Equipment Company") was jointly funded and established in 2015 by CRRC Sifang Institute, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Corporation"), and Chongqing municipal state-owned enterprises.
Both Chongqing Technology Company and Chongqing Intelligent Equipment Company (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Chongqing Sifang Institute") are controlled by CRRC Sifang Institute, which is responsible for daily operations. Chongqing Sifang Institute is located in the beautiful mountain city of Chongqing. It is a cross-system high-tech enterprise integrating research and development, manufacturing, after-sales service, and maintenance, committed to providing integrated solutions for the Chongqing rail transit system, and gradually becoming an innovation center and manufacturing base for rail transit equipment in Chongqing and surrounding areas.
Chongqing Sifang Institute is currently mainly engaged in the research and development, production, testing, and related after-sales service of supporting equipment for urban rail transit vehicles, including traction drive systems, network control systems, current collection devices, vibration and noise reduction systems, air conditioning and ventilation systems, passenger information systems, electrical control cabinets, braking systems, intelligent maintenance, intelligent operation and maintenance, intelligent equipment products, vehicle vibration and noise reduction systems, tire assemblies, bridge bearings, general machinery, electronic products, intelligent terminal equipment, rubber products, automotive air suspension, new energy vehicle components, polyurethane polymer materials and products, and rail fastening system design and installation, rail pad production, etc.; supporting production and services for mainline railway vehicle products; and gradually extending its business scope to the research and development, manufacturing, maintenance, sales, and after-sales service of urban rail transit system station and line equipment; at the same time, with Chongqing Sifang Institute as the carrier, incorporating cooperation projects between CRRC Corporation and Chongqing into the company's business scope, thereby forming its own rail transit industry chain integrating research and development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service. Up to now, the products and equipment of Chongqing Sifang Institute have been installed and put into operation in projects in Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Wuhan, Shuyang, Guiyang, Beijing, Shenyang, etc., with good market response.
