Hebei Construction Engineering Group

Hebei Construction Engineering Group, formerly known as Hebei Provincial Construction Engineering Bureau, was established in 1952. In 1983, it was renamed Hebei Provincial Construction Engineering Corporation. In 1987, it assumed the functions of Hebei Provincial Construction Industry Administration Bureau, responsible for the management of the construction industry across the province, and worked under the same roof as Hebei Provincial Construction Engineering Corporation. In 1997, with the approval of the provincial government, the provincial construction engineering corporation served as the core enterprise to form Hebei Construction Engineering Group. In the same year, Hebei Provincial Construction Engineering Corporation was restructured into Hebei Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and was approved as a provincial-level state-owned asset authorized operating institution. After more than sixty years of development, the Group has grown into a large state-owned construction enterprise group with 'two main businesses and five major sectors' (the traditional main business of construction and installation, the second main business of real estate, and the five supporting sectors of technology, service, logistics, finance, and manufacturing). Currently, it has 13 subsidiaries and an annual operating capacity exceeding 60 billion yuan. Relying on years of accumulated history, the Group has formed many 'fist products' representing the domestic advanced level in large public buildings, super high-rise buildings, cultural and sports venue construction, medical and health engineering construction, water treatment engineering construction, underground space engineering, building materials and metallurgical engineering, building decoration and renovation engineering, municipal road and bridge engineering, and landscaping engineering. It has completed over 600 national and local key industrial, civil, and public engineering projects, winning more than 550 national, ministerial, and provincial quality engineering awards. It has received the China Construction Engineering Luban Prize 38 times over 19 consecutive years, and has been awarded the National Quality Engineering Prize 33 times, as well as the National Construction Engineering Decoration Award, China Steel Structure Gold Award, and the Golden Yu Award for building waterproofing engineering, making significant contributions to the national and local economic development.
