Yunnan Zhongyan Reconstituted Tobacco Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yunnan Zhongyan Reconstituted Tobacco Company") is a state-controlled joint-stock enterprise holding 50% shares by Yunnan Zhongyan Industrial Co., Ltd., 25% by Kunming Shipbuilding Equipment Group Co., Ltd., and 25% by Yunnan Ruisheng Tobacco Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 90 million yuan. Its main business includes research on supporting process technology for paper-making process reconstituted tobacco, design and development of process equipment, as well as the production and sales of reconstituted tobacco products.
Since its establishment, under the care and support of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "State Bureau") and the correct leadership of Yunnan Zhongyan Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yunnan Zhongyan"), Yunnan Zhongyan Reconstituted Tobacco Company has adhered to the development positioning of "serving Yunnan Zhongyan brands and the local economy of Yunnan", strictly regulated production, operation, and management in accordance with the Tobacco Monopoly Law and industry requirements. Through continuous efforts and independent innovation, it has developed into a reconstituted tobacco research, development, and production enterprise with a leading domestic production scale, distinctive quality, strong sustained supply capability, and comprehensive technical strength.
At the same time, the company is one of the three paper-making process reconstituted tobacco research and development bases designated by the State Bureau in 2003. It has passed ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification and has been recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Yunnan Province, an innovation pilot enterprise in Yunnan Province, and a provincial-level technology center.
