By-Health was founded in 1995. In 2002, it systematically introduced dietary nutritional supplements (VDS) into China's non-direct sales sector. On December 15, 2010, By-Health was listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and quickly grew into a benchmark enterprise in China's dietary nutritional supplement industry. In 2018, By-Health acquired the Australian probiotic brand Life-Space, and in May of the same year, it acquired Pentavite, a children's nutritional supplement brand under Bayer with a history of over 80 years. According to Euromonitor data, in 2021, By-Health ranked among the forefront of China's vitamin and dietary supplement industry with a market share of 10.3%. In 2021, By-Health became a supplier of sports food and nutrition for TEAM CHINA, the Chinese national team, providing sports food, nutrition products, and professional nutritional preparation plans for athletes from over 70 national teams.
By-Health Scientific Nutrition: Relying on modern nutritional science, By-Health has established a comprehensive scientific system for dietary nutritional supplements. Collaborating with global cutting-edge research institutions such as the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) and the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it continuously conducts research on scientific nutrition and its intervention in chronic disease nutrition. In 2022, Chairman Liang Yunchao issued a letter to shareholders titled "Another Eight Years to Build a Strong Technology-Driven Enterprise," expressing the hope to preliminarily complete the transformation into a strong technology-driven enterprise over the next eight years. It proposed implementing the "Scientific Nutrition" strategy, continuously building By-Health's differentiated "hard technology" product strength and technological competitiveness advantages, empowering the technological content of the VDS (Vitamin Dietary Supplement) industry, and bringing incremental value to the VDS industry. Based on existing R&D and registration of heavy-functional and health foods, it continuously strengthens and consolidates the product technological strength of By-Health's advantageous "high-precision and advanced" heavy-functional health foods, amplifying its unique advantages. On this basis, it strives to develop new raw materials, new functions, and new technologies, creating new highlands for industrial development. The transparent factory is an advanced, strictly quality-controlled intelligent manufacturing base for dietary nutritional supplements. In 2017, it established the By-Health branch of the National Postdoctoral Research Workstation; in August 2018, it was rated as a National AAAA-Level Tourist Area, and in October of the same year, it was rated as a National Green Factory; in 2019, it built the Nutrition Discovery Pavilion and established the Guangdong Provincial Academician Workstation. By-Health's transparent factory adopts an open and transparent attitude, welcoming visits from all sectors within the industry. By-Health possesses laboratories accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and has established multiple high-standard testing projects.
