I. Company Introduction: Beijing Tri-Prime Gene Engineering Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as: Tri-Prime Gene, stock code: 920344) is a modern biomedical technology enterprise with a registered capital of RMB 121.81 million. It is mainly engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of pharmaceutical and biotechnological products, including genetically engineered pharmaceuticals, genetically engineered vaccines, and diagnostic reagents, as well as related technology trade and technical consulting services. Established in 1992, Tri-Prime Gene is an enterprise named after proprietary genetic engineering technology in China, co-founded by Mr. Hou Yunde, former Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Mr. Cheng Yongqing, one of China's earliest professional managers in high-tech entrepreneurship and venture capital. The main product of Tri-Prime Gene, recombinant human interferon α1b, is a first-class new drug of genetic engineering with independent intellectual property rights in China, used for the treatment of various viral diseases and malignant tumors. Yundesu (trade name of recombinant human interferon α1b) has established a high-quality brand for Chinese genetic drugs and created good economic and social benefits. Tri-Prime Gene has strong R&D capabilities. In 2001, its R&D center was approved by the Ministry of Personnel to establish a postdoctoral research workstation.
