Guangdong Second Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Guangdong Provincial Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering and Technology) is a comprehensive provincial-level Grade III-A Chinese medicine medical and research institution directly under the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission and the Guangdong Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The hospital has three campuses, three outpatient departments, and one community health service center, with over 1,500 open beds. It also serves as the Fifth Clinical Medical College and a non-directly affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, offering an undergraduate program in traditional Chinese medicine. It has been designated as a National Postdoctoral Research Station, a Guangdong Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base, and a National Training Base for Standardized Residency Training of Traditional Chinese Medicine Physicians, undertaking the training of undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral students. Together with the Guangdong Provincial Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering and Technology and Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the hospital forms an integrated development model of "production-learning-research-medical."
