Zhongyuan Bank

Zhongyuan Bank Co., Ltd. is a city commercial bank headquartered in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, China. It was established on December 23, 2014, in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations, under the name "Zhongyuan Bank Co., Ltd." and operates as a joint-stock commercial bank. The Bank is the successor to thirteen city commercial banks located in Henan Province, China. Pursuant to the Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Supporting Henan Province to Accelerate the Construction of the Central Plains Economic Zone (Guo Fa [2011] No. 32), and with the strong promotion and authorization of the Henan Provincial Government and the China Banking Regulatory Commission, as well as the support of the People's Bank of China, the Bank was established through the merger of these thirteen city commercial banks. Its objectives include creating a city commercial bank in Henan Province with a larger capital base, stronger resilience against potential risks, and higher brand recognition and service quality, to better serve the development of the Central Plains Economic Zone.
