建昌帮是我国南方的古药帮，发祥于江西省抚州市南城县，是全国中药炮制四大流派和十三大药帮之一、四大医派“旴江医学”重要组成部分。民间流传“南城客，建昌帮，人身鹿茸用船装”来形容当时建昌帮药材出口盛况，炮制技艺在港、粤、台、东南亚及欧美地区被广泛使用，至今药界享有“建昌认同似金规，不过建昌药不灵”的美誉和知名度。
