I. About Us
Tongfudun was founded in 2011 by Dr. Wang Dejia, a data scientist. The core team comes from well-known institutions and enterprises such as the People's Bank of China, VISA, Microsoft, IBM, HP, Oracle, and China Pacific Life Insurance.
As a leader in the fintech security industry, Tongfudun's dream is to "make fintech safer and more reassuring," and its mission is to "provide comprehensive security protection for fintech enterprises and individual users," safeguarding the "cyber property" of enterprises and individual users from infringement.
Integrating industry, academia, and research, Tongfudun is committed to building a full industry chain service model for fintech security: since 2011, Tongfudun has invested hundreds of millions of yuan to build the "Tongfudun Cloud." By adopting the emerging cloud service model in the cybersecurity industry, it brings customers efficient and convenient product service experiences. To date, it has served thousands of enterprise customers.
Tongfudun attaches great importance to disciplinary cooperation, technical research, and reserves. Tongfudun has long-term in-depth cooperation with the University of Science and Technology of China in basic and frontier technologies in the security field, and has established a research institute consisting of three laboratories: blockchain, anti-fraud, and mobile security, to promote the productization of cutting-edge new technologies.
Domestically, Tongfudun has successively joined industry associations such as the Payment & Clearing Association of China under the People's Bank of China and the Data Center Alliance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Internationally, Tongfudun is a member of the Cloud Security Alliance ("CSA") and the Open Web Application Security Project ("OWASP"), and currently serves as the regional responsible unit.
As a frontrunner in the industry, Tongfudun leads industry development and takes the lead in formulating industry standards. Together with institutions such as OWASP and the Data Center Alliance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it has successively released industry standards including "Mobile Application Security Testing Benchmark" and "Data Circulation Standards: Risk Control Category (Non-bank Payment Scenarios)".
