Guangzhou Kongque Gene Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jingke Holdings, is led by Academician Wei Yuquan, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy at West China Hospital of Sichuan University, along with a research team of several national high-level young experts. It specializes in the development of fourth-generation gene sequencers and molecular diagnostic applications. The company has successfully developed a prototype of a nanopore single-molecule sequencer with long read length, low cost, and portability, and has applied for multiple invention patents in China, the United States, Europe, Japan, and other regions.
