Founded in 1989, Beijing Electric Power Hospital is a Grade III general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, and health management. It is a teaching hospital of Capital Medical University and undertakes undergraduate, master's, and doctoral teaching tasks for Capital Medical University. It is a Class A designated medical institution for Beijing medical insurance, the Beijing Branch of the National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases, and a training base for the National Chronic Disease Health Management Cancer Screening and Early Diagnosis Project.
