Sinopec Guangzhou (Luoyang) Engineering Co., Ltd. (LPEC), established in 1956, is a high-tech enterprise in the domestic energy and chemical field that integrates technology licensor and engineering contractor. It holds the Grade A comprehensive design qualification in China and is one of the first engineering consulting enterprises in the country whose business covers 21 industries. It has Grade A qualification certificates for engineering general contracting, engineering design, engineering supervision, engineering consulting, and environmental impact assessment, and is one of the pilot units for the reform of the national capital construction management system authorized to implement engineering general contracting. On May 23, 2013, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd., it was listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange as a whole.
