Beijing Future Science City

Beijing Future Science City Development Group was established in August 2009 with the approval of the People's Government of Changping District, Beijing. It is a state-owned enterprise with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Changping District performing the main investor responsibilities. Since its establishment, the Group has focused on three development goals: "strengthening the Future Science City brand, solidifying the 'one city driving two towns' strategy, and effectively supporting industrial development in the park." The Group is committed to promoting the primary land development of the Future Science City, secondary development of certain commercial land parcels, urban operation and management, management and service of scientific and technological resources, industrial investment, and financial services. It also actively participates in the new-type urbanization construction of Beiqijia Town and Xiaotangshan Town, as well as the development of Beijing Science and Technology Business District (TBD). To date, the Group's total assets amount to approximately 28.5 billion yuan, with net assets of approximately 13.8 billion yuan. It has 11 subsidiary companies and 7 project companies, with over 400 management and technical personnel. After more than seven years of construction, the Future Science City has begun a smooth transition from the construction phase to the operational phase and has become an important platform for the capital to serve the coordinated development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and to build a national science and technology innovation center. As the main entity for the development and construction of the Future Science City, Beijing Future Science City Development Group envisions becoming a 'city development and investment operator' with diversified operations and professional management. The Group focuses on four business segments: primary land development, real estate development, urban operation and management, and industrial development. By consolidating the basic business of primary land development, it solidifies the strategy of "one city driving two towns"; by strengthening real estate development, it ensures the quality of public services and construction within the park; by stabilizing urban operation and management, it ensures the efficient and safe operation of the entire city; and by improving the industrial development segment, it provides rapid, efficient, and comprehensive industrial supporting services for various enterprises locating in the Future Science City and surrounding areas, supporting regional industrial development, and ultimately achieving integrated development of industry and city, fully leveraging its role as a driver and source of power for the development of the Future Science City and surrounding areas.
