Sinohydro Bureau 14 Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bureau 14" or "the Company"), established in 1954, is a controlling subsidiary of PowerChina Group, a central enterprise directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) of China and a Fortune Global 500 company. Over the past sixty-plus years, Bureau 14 has expanded from Yunnan to the whole country, from China to the world, from hydropower to multiple fields, and from construction to the full industry chain. It has gradually developed into a large comprehensive construction and investment enterprise with a core business centered on "water, energy, and city," focusing on construction, supplemented by new energy power generation, equipment manufacturing, and investment operations, and achieving integrated development across the entire industry chain of "investment, construction, and operation," with business coverage both domestically and internationally. Currently, Bureau 14 holds the Special Grade qualification for general contracting of water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction, Grade I qualifications for general contracting of municipal public works, building engineering, and electromechanical engineering, Grade I qualification for professional contracting of tunnel engineering, Class A qualification for water conservancy industry engineering design, and qualifications for contracting international projects. Its total assets amount to 64.632 billion yuan, with a registered capital of 2.473 billion yuan. It has cultivated 930 senior professional and technical talents, represented by Ma Hongqi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and developed core competitiveness in large-scale complex underground cavern construction, rapid TBM tunneling for long tunnels with large cross-sections, installation of high-head, large-capacity (including reversible) hydro-turbine generator units, and fabrication and installation of metal structures. To date, it has achieved 372 major scientific and technological achievements at or above the provincial and ministerial level, and has won 12 Luban Prizes, 14 Zhan Tianyou Prizes, 4 Dayu Prizes, 22 national and international "High-quality Engineering Awards" (excluding Luban Prizes), and 120 provincial and ministerial "High-quality Engineering Awards." Bureau 14 has been rated as a "Meritorious Enterprise in Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China," and the Lubuge Hydropower Station and the Yellow River Xiaolangdi Water Control Project undertaken by it have been rated as "Classic Projects of the 70th Anniversary." As one of the earliest construction enterprises in China to obtain qualifications for foreign contracted projects, it has been ranked first among Yunnan's foreign economic cooperation enterprises for many years. As a pioneer in plateau wind energy development, it has invested in and developed several wind farms, including Zhemoshan. Currently, it holds controlling stakes or participates in 32 companies, involving fields such as wind power, photovoltaics, highways, water environment, water control hubs, municipal roads, equipment manufacturing, municipal public utilities, engineering testing, real estate, and mining engineering, with a total investment exceeding 100 billion yuan. Bureau 14 has cumulatively won 8 "National May Day Labor Medals," has 8 "National Model Workers," and 152 provincial and ministerial model workers. It has been awarded the titles of "National May Day Labor Certificate," "National Excellent Construction Enterprise," "Top 100 Chinese Construction Enterprises," "National Excellent Construction Enterprise for Power Construction," and "Trustworthy and Creditworthy Enterprise." It is a Class AAA credit enterprise in China's engineering construction, one of the first batch of Class AAA credit enterprises in the national power industry, and a model enterprise of integrity in China's engineering construction, possessing strong strength in multi-field and full industry chain services.
