CNCIC

China National Chemical Information Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CNCIC") was established in 1992 through the merger of the former Science and Technology Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry (founded in 1959) and the former Economic Information Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry (founded in 1984). It serves as a think tank unit of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. As a first-class industry information research institution, CNCIC takes the strategic goal of becoming a new high-end think tank for the chemical industry, insisting on providing advice for the development of the chemical industry, offering decision-making support for government departments, empowering insights for the development of domestic and foreign enterprises, and continuously promoting the high-quality development of China's chemical industry.
CNCIC hosts authoritative institutions such as the Chemical Branch Library of the National Science and Technology Library, China Chemical Information and Intelligence Association, Petrochemical Professional Committee of China Circular Economy Association, and the Chemical Materials Field Committee of the Chinese Standards for Testing and Materials (CSTM).
Its business covers multiple areas including industrial research and planning for the chemical industry, dual carbon consulting, chemical compliance consulting, scientific and technological information services, journal publication, exhibition and conference organization, etc.
It undertakes a number of key research topics from SASAC, MOST, MIIT, MOFCOM and other ministries and commissions throughout the year.
