Nanchang Institute (Nanchang Railway Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd.) was the former Design Institute of Nanchang Railway Bureau. In 2004, it was integrated and restructured with the former Design Institute of Shanghai Railway Bureau. In 2008, along with the overall restructuring and listing of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, it was renamed Nanchang Railway Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd.
