西南交通大学前沿科学研究院杨维清教授团队主要从事纳米能源材料与功能器件的应用基础研究，开发能量采集、存储与传感的“材料开发-器件集成-工程应用”全链条技术。团队拥有3000余万元科研设备、材料小试线、年产30-60吨超级电容器活性炭负极材料中试线（在建）、年产300吨超级电容器活性炭负极材料生产线（在建）、2条超级电容器和电池中试线与生产线（6000万，已建成），30亩生产基地（5亿投资，已封顶）。目前团队拥有10余名在职教师和60余名研究生，团队在Adv. Mater.、Adv. Funct. Mater.、ACS Nano, Nano Lett.、Chem. Soc. Rev.等期刊发表SCI论文350余篇。
