JD.com is China's largest self-operated e-commerce enterprise. It officially entered the e-commerce field in 2004, and has subsidiaries including JD Mall, JD Finance, Paipai, JD Smart, JD Daojia, and the Overseas Business Unit. Since its development, the company's market scale has continued to expand, and its market transaction volume has grown rapidly. In May 2014, it was officially listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange. In June 2016, JD.com reached a deep strategic cooperation with Walmart, and Yihaodian was merged into JD.com. In the same year, JD.com was listed in the 2016 Fortune Global 500, becoming China's first and only internet company to be selected.
In 2017, JD.com ranked 261st on the Fortune Global 500 list with revenue of 39.155 billion USD. In April 2017, the logistics subsidiary was established, and in the future it will build a comprehensively open smart supply chain network. Jiangxi Jingbangda Trading Co., Ltd. was established in August 2017 and is under the Central China Region business of JD Logistics, coordinating and managing JD.com's business in the Jiangxi region, with annual sales growing rapidly at 200%. The JD Jiangxi Xiangtang Logistics Base project has a total investment of approximately 2 billion in Nanchang County, with planned land use of 400 mu. The Jiangxi Xiangtang Logistics Center will radiate across the entire Jiangxi Province, with Nanchang as the center, to build Jiangxi Province's regional order generation center, operations center, settlement center, and e-commerce industrial park.
