Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, DuPont Nutrition & Health puts science to work in a wide range of sustainable, bio-based ingredients and advanced microbial diagnostic solutions to provide safer, healthier, tastier and more nutritious food. Formerly consisting of DuPont’s Qualicon diagnostic business, it was augmented in 2011 with the acquisition of Danisco food ingredients and in 2012 with Solae soy protein.


The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont have announced their intent to combine in an all-stock merger of equals. The merger is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2017 and the new company will be named DowDuPont. Within 18-24 months of the merger, DowDuPont intends to spinoff entities resulting in three separate and independent publicly traded companies, subject to regulatory and board approval. At the time of the spin, employees will be moved to one of the three companies.
