AECC Xi'an Aero-Engine Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as AECC Xi'an Aero-Engine) is one of the national large-scale aero-engine manufacturing enterprises affiliated to Aero Engine Corporation of China. It is a base for the development, production and maintenance of large aero-engines and large marine gas turbines in China, as well as an important R&D and production base for new energy and environmental protection equipment.
Located in Weiyang District, Xi'an, adjacent to the Xi'an Municipal Administrative Center and the Economic and Technological Development Zone, the company covers an area of over 4,000 mu for its production and living quarters, earning the reputation of a garden factory and community in Xi'an. AECC Xi'an Aero-Engine currently has more than 13,000 employees and is recognized as a national enterprise technology center. It possesses over 8,000 sets of advanced cold and hot processing, metrological and testing equipment from home and abroad, three nationally accredited laboratories, and two technology research centers, achieving world-class levels in processing, manufacturing, metrology and testing. Over the past sixty years, AECC Xi'an Aero-Engine has experienced the development and production of various large and medium-sized aero-engines in China, successfully developing the first turbofan engine in China, and has achieved fruitful results in aero-engine production and scientific research. It has now established a complete aero-engine production system, making outstanding contributions to China's aviation industry and national construction.
In 2008, AECC Xi'an Aero-Engine was listed on the stock market with its operating assets related to aero-engine manufacturing. AECC Xi'an Aero-Engine undertakes the development and production tasks of multiple national key aviation projects, becoming a modern large-scale enterprise focused on aero-engine development, with civil aviation engines and gas turbines developing in tandem, and oriented towards both domestic and international markets.
