Chongqing Urban Construction Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. was established in September 2001. The enterprise has a capital of 301.85 million yuan. At the initial stage of its establishment, it was managed by Chongqing Municipal Construction Commission. On January 1, 2005, it was listed by Chongqing as a municipal key enterprise, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Chongqing Municipality, on behalf of the government, performs the duties of investor supervision. Approved by the municipal government, it was wholly merged into Chongqing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. in November 2006. Chongqing Urban Construction Group, approved by the Ministry of Construction and relevant construction qualification management agencies, has obtained the qualifications of Grade I general contracting for municipal public engineering construction, Grade I general contracting for housing construction, Grade I professional construction for earthwork engineering, Grade I general contracting for bridge engineering professional construction, Grade A qualification for agency owner, Grade II professional contracting for decoration engineering, and Grade II professional construction for highway subgrade and pavement. It has also passed the certifications of ISO9001-2000 international quality system, ISO14001 international environmental system, and ISO18001 international occupational health and safety system. It has been awarded the title of Contract-abiding and Creditworthy Enterprise by the Chongqing Administration for Industry and Commerce for many times, and has been rated as one of the Top 50 Enterprises in Chongqing.
