张庄铁矿地处六安市霍邱县周集镇，东接105国道，北临淮河，西接G35济广高速阜六段和阜六铁路，矿区地势平坦，交通便利。张庄矿矿石平均品位TFe33.27%，S平均含量0.11%，P平均含量0.04%，矿石可选性好。设计规模为采选综合能力500万吨/年，采用地下开采，竖井开拓，两翼对角式通风。采矿方法主要采用大直径深孔阶段空场嗣后充填法。经高压辊磨、磁选抛尾、阶段磨选可年产TFe65%以上的铁精矿174万吨，三种粒级建材200万吨，选矿回收率71%。项目总投资26.98亿元。
